Chicken coops

So this year I would really like to get chickens.  I would love to have my own eggs.  I also think it would be really good for my son (Tut) to have them as part of his life.  It could give him a sense of responsibility as he gets older.  While he's still young I think he would just like to chase them around the yard.  I started looking for a coop and there are all kinds.  I have included some of my favorites and some that may actually work for my yard. 

These are the ones that may actually work since they are smaller.

Bunk room

My husband thinks its very important for our kids to share rooms.  I think they should have their own rooms.  If they are going to share their rooms the room would have to look like these bunk room.

Pantries

I came across this old picture of a woman's pantry and I was amazed by all the canned good she had.  They look like home canned goods and all I could think was man she must of been canning all the time.  One day I would like the food in my pantry to be like this, full of things I canned that grew in my garden! 

And I saved the best for last!  I love that this is part garden.  There is not a good place to grow your herbs inside and this is such a great use of space.  One day when I build my house this room will be included.

Charles Towne Place

I am in love with this house.  I would love to build it on a ton of land in the middle of no where so when you go to the fourth floor you see nothing but nature.  I can only imagine the memories you could make in this house.

Raised Bed Gardens

I am ready for winter to be over.  Even in Florida its to cold for anything to grow.   I love my garden and everything is dead.  I'm ready to plant new vegetables and start over but it's better not to plant things in January so I have to wait.  In the mean time I am going to dream about other peoples gardens.  Today its raised bed gardens.



What a neat idea for an old spiral staircase.   Now I'm going to be on the look out for a spiral staircase.

May Books

So one of my resolutions this year is to became a meal planner.  I'm trying to plan out a week of meals so I know before 5:30 what I'm going to cook.  I thought that since I love books maybe a cute meal planner notebook would help me stay on course.  In my search for this notebook I found May Books.  They are so cute.  You can choose the pattern you like for the cover and personalize the cover.  Than you can pick what type of pages you want inside (you can pick different calenders, meal planner, lined, dotted, wedding planners and different baby stuff)  If you need a new notebook you should check out their products.

Smeg

When living in Milan I drove past the Smeg store everyday.  I always LOVED the mid century modern feel of all their products.  If I ever do a mid-century kitchen their products will have to be part of it! 

Don't you love this washer? I think its the cutest thing ever! If I had a small space this is what I would buy. And the sink on top makes it so functional.
